Sounds like you aren't ready for marriage.

If he is away for work, or whatever, and can't get home in time, plan to celebrate it on a different day, and make sure you share a phone call on the anniversary itself.

What is not speaking to him for a few days going to accomplish at all except MORE hurt feelings for both of you.

You need to grow up a little bit and realize that life is not always perfect, and the marriage itself is more important than one day out of every year.

Don't play silly games.... You shouldn't blame him for a situation that nobody has control over. That's just going to cause resentment and anger at a time that should be filled with appreciation and joy.

I'm sure it won't make any difference to the amount of fun and romance you guys will have together if you celebrate your anniversary a day or two after the actual day. Well, it shouldn't anyway, unless you allow it to ruin your time. But that would be your fualt, not his.

If it really means that much to you to see him on your anniversary, why couldn't you go to him? Is he close enough that you could meet up somewhere halfway... it might be exciting and romantic.

Or just write him a letter that night talking about how much you are thinking of him. Not an email... an actual physical hand written letter. Chat over the phone like you did at the beginning of your relationship..... make the most of it, until he returns to your arms.

And most of all appreciate that you are lucky enough to get to see him again. There are many women out there whose husbands have gone off to war, never to return.... and whose children will never even meet their father.

Consider yourself blessed and show your husband love because he may not always be there for some special days, but you should be thankful to have him anyways.

Are you still in 7th grade? Not talk to him because he's out of town? Since you didn't say why he's out of town, I can only assume its due to work. If thats the case, GET OVER IT! It happens. What do you do? Call him and tell him you love him, you miss him and that you will celebrate when he gets home.
