Well i guess it depends on how i was assaulted', of course i would forgive them, but if they a broke pumpkin over my head i would probably give it back to them i wouldn't sue. But this has not happened so i can't really say i am sure they were having fun with it right, if they were trying to really hurt you maybe you should just keep your distance from them. And pray for them you could make them a pumpkin pie and ask if this is what they wanted.

Assault is assault. It may look a little funny on the police report, or the "police log" in the newspaper:
Probably not to report:"9:15am-woman called to report her son is 'throwing his carrot cubes at her' and requires an officer to assist her in restraining her 5 year old"
Or worse yet (definite report): "11:30pm-woman called to report her husband went in the garden and picked carrots and shoved them up between her legs-wants officer assistance in restraining him as she believes he is getting cucumbers next"
The not so bad but still abusive: "3:15pm-man called to report wife throwing broccoli at him as he returned from work and needs officer assistance in restraining his wife as he plans to eat the broccoli for supper but does not want damaged or 'soft' broccoli with his butter"

If this really happened, then this "loved one" should be exposed. It should be done as crudely as possible. And with the law.
It's that's person's shame. But that person does not love.
One could never do that to another if (s)he loved the other.

I don't know what the vegi has to do with this but if like your husband or wife I'd call the po-po. If it was a mom or a dad, i'd cry!!! (Then call the po-po)
