Okay this is the way I learned it back in the day.

Thirty days has September
April, May and November.
When short February's done.
All the rest have thirty-one.

The knuckle deal works for only for thirty-one because of February.

I use the knuckle system......if you don't know it I'll try to explain it.....

you know how your knuckles have a peak and valley

count the first peak as a January, then the vally next to it is Febuary, next is a peak which is March, next valley is April...and so on to the next hand.......each peak is a month with 31 days..
