An iPod is a type of MP3 player. MP3 players are devices which store music in a solid state (Meaning there's no need for moving parts such as a tape or cd). MP3 is a data format in which music is easily stored. MP3 players in general are good devices to own if you love music and have lots you want to have access to without having to dig through tapes or cds. iPods are among the best of the MP3 players, and have gained much recognition for Apple company's innovative approach to the MP3 player. In general, iPods have more storage capacity and an easier user interface. I highly recommend them- though expensive, you get your money's worth.

Also, for charging purposes, a Solio (approx $80) is a solar powered charging device specifically designed for portable electronic devices such as cell phones and iPods.

I hope this info is helpful!

An iPod is a *type* of mp3. Non-iPod mp3s are usually less capable of large storage, lesser in quality, but better in cost.

{If you're going to shell out at least 100 bucks, I'd say go the extra mile and get quality with an iPod. -- But if your range is more likely to be $35-50, then don't waste your time and money with something that is so serious.}

look, the proper word is not 'mp3 player', it's DAP [digital audio player].

All of the so called "mp3" players play way more than just mp3 format, like MIDI, ACC, FLAC, and other sorts.

so the iPod is a brand of DAP, and it is not necesarily better, and it sure doesnt have the largest storage capacity of any DAP, it is just that it looks pretty, so everyone wants it

don't get a Wii. I certainly have one and you have one too, so which you may understand they seem to be a ripoff. Nintendo reported it could be a family participants exciting gaming gadget. There are basically some video games, and in straightforward terms a pair respectable ones, all single participant and made via nintendo. i choose to propose the PS3 or 360. If all your friends have 360s, get one so which you would be able to borrow their video games and play online with them. in any different case, decide for the PS3, it has better components, does not smash as frequently and has unfastened online play.
