Let's start with willful and intentional violation of federal laws, contrary to his oath of office to ensure that the laws are faithfully executed.

The warrantless wiretapping program is explicitly illegal, under a law enacted in 1978 (FISA) that was intended to cover exactly the type of activity he's been doing. Rumsfeld and Cheney argued to Congress in the 1970s that there should be an exception for the Executive, and Congress said no when they passed the law. So, Bush has been willfully violating federal law, knowing it was illegal. That's one.

Then we have the fact that he has worked to disable or bypass most constitutional protections, including Article I Section 9, Articles III and IV, plus the 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th Amendments. And he's on record referring to the Constitution as "just a g*d*mn piece of paper". This is direct violation of his oath of office to support and defend the Constitution.

Then we have numerous constitutional violations, mainly 5th and 6th Amendment issues, and violations of international treaties (which have the same effect as federal law once ratified by Congress). These have already been confirmed as violations by the Supreme Court.

That's just what he's admitted doing that is either directly illegal, or in direct violation of this oath of office. There's also significant evidence that he's lied to congress. And his claims that the courts do not have any authority over his illegal activities. (see links below)

In a nation of laws, the ends do not justify the means. Catching two bad people, or a dozen, doesn't justify wholescale willful violation of federal law, constitutional provisions and his oath of office.

They are stating that President Bush lied about the reason why we went to War in the Middle East.

The people he caught were no threat to the US but even if they were there were other ways to get them out of the way.
Other presidents who have some intelligence with which to formulate plans, actually used our CIA to catch and kill people they don't want running around in this world. Georgie on the other hand prefers to 'murder' our soldiers to protect his interests in the middle east.

they are trying to impeach Bush because he is a Republican from Texas. The Democrats always think that they are right- you will learn that soon enough.

I say who cares why we went into Iraq- we got Saddam Hussein and the world is a better place.

It's not about him catching 2 bad people that other presidents couldn't. That doesn't matter.

They're trying to impeach him because they think he's in violation of policy, has lied, and malipulated information.

I don't think it's true though.

He has broken laws of this country and the world and no one should be above the law. He sets a standard for the rest of the country to follow and if he can break laws and get away with it every one should.

"impeach"

He sent us into war killing thousands, when there wasn't a real threat. Saddam, is a crazy mofo - but we never had enough intelligence to invade.

If they wanted to impeach Clinton for a hummer in his office that effected NO-ONE but his family, then the guy who is responsible for the deaths of THOUSANDS of AMERICANS should probably be impeached and tried as a war criminal.
