You can, but to get an outie pierced, it hurts more than an innie unless you get them to pierce the top part of skin like in an innie. the only thing is the bottom of the belly ring will kind og bulge out because you have an outie. See what they think at the piercing parlour.
I'm not going to lie, it doesn't hurt, but not half as bad as you probably think! Believe me! The tthinking about it is the worst part of the whole process.

I didn't think it was to bad when I got mine done just don't watch. it does take forever for it to heal and they get infected really easy so that is the worst part as for the outtie thing it depends you should let a professional piercer look at it and tell you what they can do with it

At the piercing process it does not hurt but later on ofcourse it starts to hurt a little but not something you cant coupe with. ıf your belly button is outtie then ı recomand you not to do it .İt might not look like you have dreamed of it

I dont think the belly piercing hurts that much, and i think u can still get one with an outie.

Yes it hurts, and yes they make BB rings just for people with outties.

i cannot speak for everyone,but I HATE NEEDLES, I used to get faint at the sight of one. I wanted a navel ring and went to a nice parlor. I almost chickened out I was on the verge of freaking and running,but my friend was there to support me and remind me that they have no refunds...LOL! I even grabbed the peircers hand...in the end i held my gal pals hand and realised it was all stupid...I didnt feel anything! NO PAIN. smoke in the eyes hurts worse,or biting your cheek...so dont fear,go for it!! I still dont dare get a tongue ring...ill never be THAT brave...lol.

I was very scared to get mine and kept putting it off - was more afraid then when i went for my tattoo. So a friend and i went together. Was really not as bad as a thought it would be. It was over in a second. Do it professionally though!!
