Market saturation. There are a lot of people running around who need a job.
A common issue is experience. An employer is more likely to hire somebody with experience over someone who has none. I got my first job because I told the employer that I needed experience for a job, but all jobs want experienced workers.
Try volunteering for a bit to gain some experience. Plus, it looks good.
I myself just got my first halfway-steady job, and I'm 19. But don't let it worry you too much; I'm sure that there's a job in your future.

There could be a number of reasons and it could just be that the job you are applying for may not be appropriate to your qualifications/non qualifications, attitude, overall appearance or age. Next time you apply for a job why don't you ask them what they are looking for if they don't hire you, or why you where inappropriate for the job, then it will give you something to go on good luck

YOu probably don't have the necessary qualifications, experience, education, and references required for the jobs you are applying. If you don't, try something you are qualified for.

If you do have everything necessary, perhaps you should work on your resume to make it better. Also, work on your interviewing skills...these are definite determining factors when being hired.

Depends on what you are doing...are you sending out resumes? Be sure to dress nice in interviews (suits, etc....even to the mall, they like it when you show professionalism), never ask what your salary is going to be in your first interview...always room to talk about it later...that just puts the possible employer off. Good luck!

What kind of job are you trying to get? Maybe you should lower your sights, get *something*, and then keep looking for the one you want.
