If a woman's top or blouse is a size 12 in the UK, what would that size be in the US? The picture looks like it is a small, which would be perfect for my girlfriend, but size 12 in the US is somewhat larger, right? I'm looking for items on e-Bay for my girlfriend, but I don't understand the size conversion. Can you help??? She usually wears small for blouses, and varies between size 2 and 4 in pants, skirts, etc....

Women's Dresses
U.K. size is 2 more than U.S.
European size is 28-30 more than U.S.
Japanese size is one less than U.S.
Example: UK 8 = US 6 = Euro 36 = Japan 5
Women's Suits (formal)
U.S use dress size
U.K. size is 22-24 more than U.S.
European size is 28 more than U.S.
Japanese use Dress size
Example: UK 28 = US = 6 = Euro 34 = Japan 5

A UK size 12 would convert to a US size 8.
A US size 2-4 would be a UK size 4-8.

Size 12 UK is about size 10 us, or 8. Either 8 or 10

If she wears a 2-4 then a 12 would be huge. Or she is a size D+ up top.

A UK dress size of 12 would concert to US dress size 10. Just subtract 2 from UK dress size to get the US dress size. So which means you should be looking UK dress size of 4 and 6 for your g/f.
