Once or twice, an accident. This is the funniest falling asleep at work story I know, though... you ready?

I used to work in a transportation office aboard a Marine Base. We had this older guy in the office (retired sailor) who was getting close to civilian retirement too. He used to fall asleep at his desk every afternoon about 2:00... just sitting there in his chair with his head bowed over, snoozing away.

One afternoon he was mid-nap when the Major (our boss) walked up to him and stood there watching him sleep. After about 30 seconds this guy opens his eyes (but doesn't lift his head) and sees the Major's shoes. Without missing a beat he says "Amen," lifts his head, scoots his chair up to his desk and returns to work. The Major just shook his head, chuckled and went back to his office.

That was more than 20 years ago and I can still see it like it was yesterday. Thanks for jogging a pleasant memory.

God Bless!

Yes. Purposeful. The job I have now does not allow this, but back in the day, there was a couch in a room that nobody ever went into, and I use to take some serious power naps. I miss them.

Yes, I have fallen asleep on purpose and by accident. My boss came in and just laughed and never said anything to me.

I used to sleep while standing up at UPS occasionally. When there was time between packages, I'd lean up against one of the trucks and doze. However, when I became a teacher and got pregnant, I slept during most of my prep periods and lunches. When I wasn't sleeping, I was daydreaming about sleeping. Those first and third trimesters were rough. But all sleep epidodes were intentional.

Accident. It was during the first trimester of my pregnancy and I was so sleepy all the time. I sat on a couch in the lounge and slept so hard I drooled. My boss (who is related to me) caught me and made me go home for the rest of the day without pay.

I under no circumstances placed on some thing in mattress, and if i'm warm the canopy is likewise off me. And as for you, why no longer sleep bare and bypass round your position freely bare, a minimum of even as others are out; possibly you ought to convince them that that is superb for any of you to be bare any time that you desire
