cyber relationships are basically fantasies which one might not have been able to fulfil in real life. Fantasies do make ur imagination run wild and what better place then cyber land. Here no one recognises anyone but its just images and words spoken behind that computer that matter. In fact its not cheating on your spouse but enhancing your own relationship in real life with her.

Have an extended cyber outing till it does hamper your own real life relationship.

It is quite possible - especially if you use a work computer instead of a home one where your spouse can see you on it all the time, or find a stray email.

I personally think it can be fun and healthy - as long as you keep it light, and not too personal. You get to have your fantasies, and then you get to go home and act them out with your spouse. Everyone wins. lol

The only danger is crossing the line, which is VERY common, and almost garuanteed. You think you can control this, but you won't be able to. You will both get lost in this fantasy, and eventually it will consume you. What started out light, will get more passionate. That passion will justify lies and compromise your ethics in the name of this discrete cyber relationship.

Every intense relationship hardwires your brain. You will become addicted to the cyber person...ending things will not be as easy as shutting down your computer.

I think everyone and everything will be found out in the end. There is always a paper trail of sorts on your computer, your messenger, your email trash, etc. So perhaps the thought of your wife finding out will prevent you from taking this deceptive path. Cyber or real life, its all cheating. You are letting yourself get intimate with someone other than your spouse, and its not right. If you aren't getting everything you need out of your marriage, talk to your wife. Tell her everything that you are lacking and she can try to give you what you want. But its definitely not fair to not even give her a chance to make you happy and fulfill your needs.

why would you even go there? A cyber relationship is only emotional....nothing more..unless you take it further. if you can't talk to your partner about certain things that you chose to talk to a cyber partner, you should get our of your marriage......just think, if you got married to your cyber partner, would you still tell all? cyber relationships are ok if you're not looking for anything more than friendship and just to unload....cause they aren't there to judge you..but i wouldn't go any further ...

No.Because everything you do is still going to be on your computer no matter how well you hide it.If your mate ever gets suspicious all he/she has to do is get software to dredge it all up.Why would you want that kind of relationship anyway?Work on the one you have or get out of it.
