Almost all my golf shirts, after being laundered a few times, get permanently wrinkled or distorted, so that they look really bad. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

You need to buy a higher quality shirt to avoid distortion. I have L.L. Bean shirts that are several years old and they still are straight. Walmart or Kmart will wash out of shape on no time. To avoid wrinkles you need to get them out of the dryer and folded as soon as they are dry. You may have to resort to ironing the ones you have at are wrinkled. Good Luck

Too late - you may have to press. Line dry new ones and restyle the color prior to hanging it. Be sure to buy an inflatable hangar or attach the plastic shoulder shapers to your hangars so that you won't get those "funky" looking shoulders with the points.

Try a different brand OR
Have them professionally cleaned & ironed OR
Simply start to wear T-shirts instead.

You need to wash them on a gentle/handwash cycle, in cold water, and lay them flat to dry, shaping the colar while it's wet. Then you need to starch iron them.

Not sure myself, possibly starch? Sometimes you can iron them back into shape.
