I more than question his ability considering how he didn't even remember the last name of the Russian head of state the other day....
I don't see the need to denigrate the man himself - just that his ability to do the job is coming more and more into question considering his stands compared to the American citizens view, desires, and the laws of the land that he seems to want to ignore.

"International Diplomacy" is a hard label to apply to the global actions of this administration.
Mind you, it's not just Bush, but the entire neo-conservative Republican movement that is at fault here. Bush is a strutting peacock, the classic example of a man born at third base who spent the rest of his life thinking he'd hit a triple!
The Republican agenda is the Halliburton agenda. The oil companies that run this administration want to control the world's last oilfields to cement their power and wealth. They feel that any cost (your life, mine, the lives of millions of Arabs and thousands of American soldiers) is worth paying in order to gain such control.
Thus, lie to the world about WMDs in Iraq, about plutonium purchases in Africa, about phantom co-operation between Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, about whatever you must to 'justify' starting a war which allows for control of the world's second largest oil field to be secured.
Now the lying is directed at Iran, another country with large oil fields. Sure, Iran is a dangerous theocracy with radical views. Easy to despise. But now as Hezbollah, Hamas and Israel are fighting the spin is already under way to try to bring this conflict to Iran. Within weeks they will have more lies, trying to connect the dots and 'justify' antoher oil field war.
Meanwhile North Korea has actual weapons of mass destruction but no actual oil fields, so they get a bunch of hostile rhetoric and tough talk from the chicken hawks, but nothing else.
In pursuing this corporate agenda they have alienated Europe, Russia, all the moderate Muslim countries and the common people of nations around the world.
Do they care? No. It's all about oil and profit.
Defenders of this administration will dispute this allegation with the suggestion that the rise in gasoline prices in America are proof that the war hasn't been about securing oil for America. If it had been, why would domestic prices be going up? This is, of course, a very simplistic view. The corporate agenda is not cheap fuel costs for Americans. To them, the average American matters little more than the average Iraqi. It is about profit.
The profits for the oil companies have been soaring since the invasion of Iraq. The common American pays for this three times: once at the pump; once through their taxes to pay for oil companies' army and; once with the lives of their sons and daughters who fight the war.
Nowhere in this plan is there anything resembling international diplomacy.

War mongering and bullying is not diplomacy. The funny thing is many nations like Iran and North Korea laugh at him. He is a bad joke for America. Nobody here is laughing.

He is doing a very bad job indeed because most people hate him and consider him an evil person. Not very much of a diplomat in my opinion - he doesn't even manage not to be hated by most people worldwide.
For me he is the worst diplomat I've ever seen in my live. Because warmongering and spreading hatred for entire religions is not diplomacy, it's stupid and the opposit of diplomatic.

I did not use to.I really don't think the invasion of Iraq was wise. But having spent time on Yahoo answers, and listening to all the anti-US propaganda, I am now inclined to say, to hell with the world, we will do what we have to, and if everyone hates us, so flipping be it, hate away, we are going to take care of our own interest. So I guess the left backfired when addressing the center.
