I believe that 80-90% of the Muslim world are really agreeable & righteous. However why is it that you keep saying Islam is a "religion of peace" yet you are eerily silent whenever "Muslims" wreck trains, blow up cafes & hotels, do gruesome beheadings, launch rockets into suburbs, crash planes into skyscrapers & other evil acts. I know that the USA, Israel & The West have committed their share of injustice & stupidity (some of us also disagree and protest against it), but while you go on condemning them, burning USA/Israel flags & shouting blasphemies like "God willing Israel will be destroyed!" I hear no condemnation from YOU (the people, not your governments) in fact I see rejoicing, whenever the innocent civilians who belong to the West & Israel are killed by "Muslims". And if you say Osama is a terrorist...why arent you denouncing him more loudly & actively working against him (is he not a greater insult to Islam than the poorly drawn Danish cartoons)?

asp...off the top of my head...
1.) Muslims can turn in the terrorists who keep hiding amongst them (particularly in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine).
2.) True Muslim Charities can stop sending Osama and Fiends their annual terrror allowance.
3.) Make a show of force in public opinion against Osama (this btw can demoralize the weaker-minded terrorists).
4.) 920+ million righteous Muslims can and are stronger than 100 million Fiends...

Oh yeah...If they dont want us (Christians/Westerners/Non-Muslims) to execute-kill Osama and Fiends...they can always do it themselves.

Best Guy... I AM NOT A ZIONIST!!! I do not support the useless and senseless bombing of Lebanon and Gaza and I disagree with the War in Iraq and I protested against the abuses of the Coalition troops there also. Does that answer your first two questions?
I never said that I am right and everyone else is wrong... And you did not even address my question...all you have done is insult my intelligence. From where I stand you have no legitimacy to insult me because nothing you have said except perhaps for that definition on Zionism has even the slightest truth or intelligence in them, you idiotic mo'fo!!!
Oh and another thing...You do not see me telling anti-Zionist people who speak intelligently to shove it up their ***...you unfortunately do not speak intelligently...

Honestly, I'm simply a moderate Muslim. I agree that most Muslims are righteous and agreeable in their own individual ways, but I guess, I would say that the media has a part to play in this. When Muslims bomb trains/buses, they'd glorify the victims and play up the "Muslim/Islam" factor. I don't mean to say that the victims do not need sympathy but really, because of the misinformity on the part of the media, the rest of the Muslims gets the backlash.
And I don't wish for Jews to get killed/destroyed. Afterall, Muslims, Jews and Christians are PEOPLE OF THE BOOK and we're all equal. What grates me is that Israel (as in the government) are ruthless and relentless. This whole war is mindless and senseless.
And the fact that Muslims worldwide do not actively participate in religious outreach groups, we're indeed to blame for not actively denouncing the wrongs terrorists did.

I used to live in two muslim countries, I'm not muslim though, but that doesn't matter, i find that muslims support other muslims, regardless of what they do. they are brothers and sisters binded by a religion.
If you watch the news today, Lebanese Muslims are supporting Hezbollah, even though they are terrorist and the Israelis are trying to rid Lebanon of harbouring terrorists.
I always hear on the news that Muslims have condemn such acts of terrorism, but have you ever notice that Muslims in western nations protest A LOT more against the government for not having the right to wear the hijab to school or not having a segregated swimming pool for muslim women than actual Muslims protesting against terrorism? Maybe they are focused on the wrong issues, or actually support their follow terrorist brothers.
I was one block away when the bus blew up in London last summer, and even after I did not see or hear of any Muslim protest against terrorism. Actually I've seen many images of protests of Muslims supporting what has happened in the country that has taken them in, given them shelter and education to their kids when noone else would.
Anyways, pictures of Mohammed have been made prior to the Denmark incident by
Muslim artists. So i guess the easiest answer to your question is, the only way you can get the majority of Muslims to stand up against Osama (and friends) is to make a new drawing of Mohammed and say Osama drew it!
But that won't do. As long as they see the Americans and the Jews as the terrorist, they will continue to support (in-directly) terrorism because Islam is a religion of peace ;-)

ok buddy why dont u stand against bush when u see him invading iraq and afghanistan... why dont u stand against israel when u see them making ethnic cleansing in gaza or when they destroy the lebanese infrastructure... dont come here acting like u r right and everyone else is wrong.. you are a zionist, and by definition a zionist is in favor of a state of israel... which means kick the ppl out that were already there and make ur own country.. that is terrorism, racism, hate and evil all mixed in one. whatever u say has no legitimacy at all... so everything i see u ask as if ur trying to make a point, just take it and shove it up ur a.s.s.

I am not a muslim and I disgusted at the opinions of those here that support the actions of Israel against Muslims and Christians in Lebanon. Why then keep accentuating the 10% of aholes that would support 'Bin Laden and Friends'. If the Bin Ladens were such demonic characters, WHY IS BUSH AND HIS FAMILY IN BUSINESS WITH THEM?? answer that.

Great question! And thanks xxom23, for a heartfelt response. He has a great point here that we all need to stand up for what is right. It would really help this war if more Muslims stood against terrorism instead of dancing in the streets.
Sometimes our ways are not good, but if you look at our track record of Germany, Japan, and Korea, you'll see that with democracy, countries can flourish! It would be great to see peace in our Holy Land!

you said you think 80-90% of muslims are righteous, well guess what...that means about 30 million that are extremist..that is scary, and why the righteous do not stand up and speak against the extremist's is simple...in their heart they want what the extremists want..to rule the world with islam..they learn that young..

Because they believe that in the end he is right. They may not agree with his tactics, but the end result of hopefully wiping out all of the non-believers is worth it. What else could be true?
