Until a few years ago, the Cubs didn't even have lights at Wrigley Field. It was something of a tradition to have day games in Chicago, even if it had been discussed that possibly this could give them a disadvantage versus other teams, always having to get up early to play. Once lights were installed, it was agreed they would continue to play day games and would only play a certain number of night games.

i think that as a results of fact they are in a residential area the human beings living interior the area does no longer enable lights to be placed up. i assume they balked at each and every attempt. no count if making lawsuits or in spite of. yet in 1988 there replaced into some style of contract and lights have been put in, however the Cubs in basic terms get some evening video games. i'm no longer able to assert this with a hundred% fact, yet i'm virtually specific it somewhat is the placement.
