I have a list... does this count?
The Changeling
Last of the Mohicans
Miller's Crossing
The Innocents
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Cold Comfort Farm
Serenity
That would be the short-list... I have myriad others but these are those I can watch that will evoke a powerful response each and every time - no matter how many times through!

You'll get lots of answers saying Citizen Kane which is the wrong answer, it's not a bad film or anything, just wildly over rated. The correct answer is Apocalypse Now of course!
