Algebra is not a difficult subject.
The problem most students have with algebra is quite simple.
The lessons the books teach are broken up in several order. If you look through a math book and you know what to look for, you will find that the Lessons in Chapter 2 may be repeated in Chapter 6, but they add a little bit more. The lessons from Chapter 3 may come up later in Chapter 7.
Students get confused because they think they are learning something entirely new in the later chapters when the text is only expanding on the subjects. The students almost forget about what they learned in the first Chapters and try to re-learn everything when the lessons are repeated in later chapters.

Not at all, although it can seem complicated in the beginning, especially with all the formulae. As you progress though, you begin to really enjoy the subject. If you just learn the rules and use your head, algebra will become a great (if not the best) subject. This comes from me, who generally avoids maths.

I always struggled through math when I was in school. I found algebra to be very difficult. If you have that class when you go back to school and you find yourself struggling, get help right away. I waited to ask for help because I was embarassed and by me letting it go I fell so far behind I was lost. Work hard at it. Best of luck to you! =)

I don't think algebra is difficult but I think it depends on how your mind works. I thought geometry was difficult but my husband thought it was easy. He doesn't like algebra as well as I do.

if u pay attension then every subject is easy otherwise its very tough . So be serious in ur studies afterall these are manmade equations n u r also a human being .hard work is the key to success . You also have the potential to do it . GOOD LUCK

Anything to do with math, algebra, trig...I run. I am not good with that discipline. But yes to answer question, algebra is difficult.

Yes it is a hard subject. I remember taking it in high school and I had to take the 1st one over and over again until I passed. Geometry is the easiest I think.

Algebra is very simple for me, it just has alot to do with numbers, and formulas and as long as you have some way of remembering these formulas you really shouldnt have to many problems.

It depends on which books you use. Some books explain it very well and make it easy. Others don't.
