conversion rate is 1 gallon to 4.5(ish) liters. So the highest US price quoted so far is $3.30. In AUD that's 73.33 cents per litre! I wish it was that cheap here. I did notice that it's hit 148.9 both in Sydney and Adelaide today (20 July 06). Melbourne and Perth won't be far behind. 150cpl won't be far away now either, probably in Sydney first. Gold and Sunshine Coasts typically have quite cheap fuel averaging between 118 and 135 cents per liter depending on the day, thursdays being most expensive and tuesdays/wednesdays the cheapest. Difference between highest and lowest price per city can be as much as 20 cents and the highest daily average rise between wednesday and thursday I've seen is as high as 18 cents. (in a single day!)

Aviation fuel is over $5.00 a gallon. This is disgusting and the oil company scumbags are to blame.
There is an artificial "shortage" whenever some remotely connected news occurs.

Quit voting in conservatives and you Aussies will have cheaper gas. Don't make the same mistake as we did here in the USA by electing oil men to the presidency.
