IF waqar and wasim come back how will be pakistan in the worldcup?

'The Sultan of Swing', Wasim Akram, would be an enormous addition to the current ODI team of Pakistan.

If Waqar Younis also comes back and joins hands with Wasim, they can again torment all leading batsmen of the world, as they did in the 90s. The old warhorses, alongwith a fit-again Shoaib Akhtar and the most promising fast bowler of our times, Mohammed Asif and leg spinner, Danish Kaneria will form a formidable bowling line-up which will test even the best batiing lineups of the world.

Wasim Akram, who has been rated by many as the best left arm bowler to have ever played the game has been a master of swing bowling - both 'conventional' to trouble the top order (even the great Rahul Dravid found him a very tough bowler to negotiate), and also 'reverse' to dismiss the lower order batsmen at the end of fifty overs.

Further, he was also one of the leading allrounders to have graced the game, especially in the limited overs variety - testimony to which is his highest score in test cricket - a swashbuckling 257 against Zimbabwe which included a record number of sixes. Surely, a great addition in the lower order for the fragile batting order of Pakistan.

And lastly, Wasim Akram - the captain. He surely was a natural leader and was a successful captain of Pakistan. Under his captaincy, Pakistan won numerous limited overs tournaments and many talented but temperamental youngsters like Shahid Afridi, Saqlain Mushtaq, Danish Kaneria and Abdul Razzaq displayed their best cricket under his captaincy.

Surely a great addition to the Pakistan ODI side.

If wasim and waqar are back in the pakistan team their bowling will look professional. With inconsistent bowling the present pakistan team bowlers look like untamed kids on the field. Wasim and waqar thought the world that consistent bowling is the key to success. They also showed that basics of bowling are more important than advanced skills.

A bit inconsistent ... he will be unfit for it!

But even if somebody gives him $1m, even though he won't return.
