I am for stem cell research. Why waste the cells if someone could benefit from them. Medical research is trial and error. If scientists can't do research with stem cells, many people who could potentially benefit from it will be denied the benefit because of politics. Scientists find cures by research, why should this one be denied?

I don't think they should use aborted fetus stem cells, but there are millions of cells in the umbilical cord that could be used.

There are many different types of stem cell research...you would have to be more specific.
