Circumstances and other factors probably has a lot to
do with the the age a boy becomes a man. My late husband
had to make his own way when he was young because his
Dad died when he was 14. He was working at any job he could
find. My husband put himself through training school and became a man at the age of 14 I think. Some boy don't become
men until they are in their 30's, that is if they have every thing
handed the them and are waited on all their lives. I have a 45 year old brother and he is still holding. !!!

Two answers: 1) Legally, usually 21 in most states.
2) Maturation-wise, it usually is when he assumes responsibility for his actions and behaves accordingly. This can vary in actual ages, depending upon the man in question. Something to remember when you're assessing a man: responsibility is the one key in determining whether he is a man, or still a boy.

In the physical, puberty sets in at any time during the ages of 10-13, but he mental sense depending on culture and indivisuals, could take forever or may show signs at a very young age.. At times my own son acts more like a man than alot of adults I know... Also children that experience unusual circumstances in youth often step up to the plate to take on responsibilities of "A MAN" For me becoming a man was when I decided to take responsibility for my own life as well as my familys. If I keep myself in order then set aside my wants in favor of my familys then all seemes to run smooth...At times a man must hide emotions, stand tall in the face of danger, put physical pain in the closet, forego his wants and some of his needs. The me first attitude must be totally lost..Humbleness and humility is a must. Loyalty and dependability must resonate to provide comfort and confidence in your loved ones.. I pray every day that I can be a man for my family...

There's no certain age. A man is mature when he's responsible for his actions, when he holds a steady job, pays his bills and is an honorable member of society. This doesn't mean that he can't have fun. The difference is that a mature man knows when enough is enough... and in regards to women, a mature man respects women and honors commitments!

I don't think it has so much with a spesific age to do, but rather what he does. I would consider a boy to be a man If he was moving out to live alone, have a work that could support his need of money, pay for apartment and daily needs, and that he would be capable of living on his own.

Sometime between age 18 and 35. Some are late bloomers. "Becoming a man" is more about actions and responsibility than chronological age.

That's a difficult question considering that most of the men that I know still act like boys most of the time, therefore in utilizing the law one could consider a boy as a man following his 18th birthday.
