It might be a little early to tell. It would be hard to predict a team's performance when I haven't even watched them in qualifiers. Hell in 2002, Korea and Turkey made it to the semi-finals, and I'm betting that no one put them over Italy, Spain, Senagal, and Japan. So who knows who'll be in the semi-finals 4 years from now?

Germany and Podolski can do it in 2014 but its gonna be either an african nation or a south american nation that can handle the scorching heat of south africa in 2010

that is gonna be real exciting. Spain should do well, especially coming off the eruro win. Germany with frank ribery and their wealth of potent strikers. Argentina if they get their **** together will be bad ***. Dont see brazil winning, or France, or Italy. The last two are in the rebuilding phase and will not be ready in time. Brazil, just doesn't have that fear of god presence anymore but it will return. Pato will be so very dangerous in the future.

its WAY too early to know...you cant make predictions like that until youve seen at least the group matches.
ofcourse its very easy to pick the usual suspects aka the "big boys" like brasil, argentina, italy, france, germany, etc...
