I have a blue DKNY sweater originally belonged to an old boyfriend who died in a car accident in 1998. He was really special, so that sweater is certainly the most precious cloth in my wardrobe.

In 1976 the school I attended made the whole year theme about the bicentennial, and we were told we had to come up with a period costume for May Day festivities. This dear sweet elderly lady made mine for me. I still have it. Then I have various items from when my kids were babies. My mother has my first bathing suit that said "future Miss America' on it. Maybe I can give that to a granddaughter if I ever have one.
