Short memories. Lebanon had a civil war last year and into the early part of this year. So their Democracy is still fairly new and a little shaky right now - moreso with what's happeneing. They do NOT possess the weapons needed to fight back and besides, it's Hezbollah that the Lebanese Government want out of their Country. The Lebanese people do NOT want Hezbollah operating our of Lebanon, save for a few sympathizers.

At the same time, I believe Israel is acting shamefully, their fight is with Hamas, Hezbollah, NOT the innocent Lebanese people who have perished senselessly. God help them if one of their bomb's mistakenly hit's Syria - actually, God help us all.

Apparently, President Lahhud is now planning to commit the Lebanese Army to join with Hizballah to fight against Israel. Maybe Syria and Iran will also join in......soon the whole world may join the conflict.

[Announcer-read report over video]

Lebanese President Emile Lahhud has stressed that Lebanon cannot give up Al-Sayyid [Hasan] Nasrallah because he represents the resistance in Lebanon. In a tour during which he inspected displaced persons in a number of Lebanese areas, east of Beirut, President Lahhud said that Lebanon is strong
when it is united. He added: We have a land that is still occupied and prisoners.

[Begin Lahhud recording] Nobody can defeat you. When we are united, we can remain steadfast and nobody will be able to defeat us. [applause] We know that when the liberation was achieved, it was a big blow to Israel. Now, they are retaliating. But, they will not succeed, because nobody is stronger than Lebanon when it is united and steadfast.

I assert to you that they will cave in to the right in the final analysis. We say that we still have a land, prisoners, and many issues that need to be resolved. The United Nations is working, but not as required. The more time passes by, the more Israel will destroy us and our infrastructure.

We can rebuild buildings. What counts is the people. You are the people and nobody is stronger than you. [applause] The state, with all its components, and the entire cabinet are with you. We will meet all your requirements. We know that you are not worried about anything. But, it is our duty to stand beside you and help you.

The Lebanese state should do all that it can. [applause and chants of support for Lahhud] Rest assured Lebanon will not give up Al-Sayyid Nasrallah [applause]. Al-Sayyid [Nasrallah], the resistance, and the national army achieved liberation for Lebanon. We will not forget that. This will be written in the books of history, no matter what the Israelis do. [end recording]

if the Lebanese military became into something formidable they might get the Hezbollah out of Lebanon, They comprehend it is the place the priority lies. yet they're too week to do it... we are speaking approximately terrorists. (you're assuming the Lebanese are on the realm of the terrorists and Israel did no longer attack the Lebanese, the terrorists are launching missles from properties hiding at the back of women and infants and harmless human beings). people who strap bombs to youthful adults and kill the harmless. The Lebanese choose the terrorists out. the respond is to enable Israel look after the priority and weigh down that team of terrorists. and then enable them to look after Syria and Iran. this could have been performed a protracted time in the past. Isreal won't play political video games... enable them to do their activity and stop the killers of the harmless.

Hello, C M other, my name is Hank. The Lebanese army doesn't fight back to protect their country because they have been neutered by Syria and Iran's proxies.

But the real reason I hunted you down--was to tell you the Romans killed Jesus. If you were smart enough to read you'd probably be able to discern the truth by yourself. As it is a poor, dumb, ignorant infidel has to correct you in your own attempt to perpetuate a lie.

Read the Bible. You might learn the truth. Again, the Jewish people did not kill Jesus. The Romans were the ones who strung Him up on a crucifix, affixed a crown of thorns on His head and then stabbed Him with a spear.

Shouldn't you go back to school and learn how to read?

The Lebanese are still trying to evacuate and dig up their civilians from the rubbel of Israeli attacks.
God help Lebanon!

They started the fight, then came to a gun fight with only a knife. It's like the skinny weak kid (Lebanon) threw rocks on the Football Team (Israel) and didn't expect them to fight back. Poor judgment on Lebanon's terrorist leaders. But what else do you expect from fanatical Islamic men. They are truly NUTS. Must be all that tight head gear they ware pressing on their small brains. I'm cheering for the Football Team.

Because they don't have the technology to do so. Would you throw rocks at aeroplanes if thats all the weapon u have? Anything the labanese throws at them will easily be struck down and bring on a greater wave of attack from israel.
Otherwise, those guys are just hoping to win the sympathy of the international community.

Might is right. If Lebanese army would have been stronger than Israel, this would not have happened.
