You’re a little behind the times.
Although still a marginal area for scientific research there are several successful scientific studies going on.

Actually, there have been several studies done on psychics in labs. I forget which part of the brain ...but the part that is activated during sleep ...it has repeatedly shown to be much more active at all times during psychics. The unsolved mysteries "psychics" series is really good and has some info on studies done. i got it from netflix. So, can they say for sure someone is "psychic"??Well, there will always be that 1% chance, no matter how accurate a person is,that it is just a coincedence, so I doubt they will ever say it is a "fact" that these powers exist, but they can observe patterns of what sets psychics apart from others and brain studies are a great place to start.

Psychic ability is not something which can be verified in a laboratory. For example, Some people able to read others thoughts. Psychics use mental powers in a peculiar mood. In a laboratory, normally people are under stress. Also, this can be disproved buy just saying that that is not my thought. I personally read thought of others, do some prediction, etc. If anybody want to verify, I am not interested. I use my gifts for the well being of others, not for publicity or to prove a point.

With the term "psychic" that falls under many categories. If talking of predicting future events...they have "lab tests". They use the Zener Cards, the star, wavy lines, circle and an equilateral cross. The government also tests remote viewing, seeing objects or people across distance. There was also a woman in Russia about 50+ years ago, that they tested with telekinesis, and they have it recorded on video. Also she and others levitated objects in sealed "see thru" boxes. So that should be evident enough

If you asked a gourmet chef to make a mud pie, could he do it? Unfortunately, psychic powers seem to be related to a certain mindset, usually some kind of emergency, and that is very hard to reproduce in a lab. Of course, the other reason could possibly be that psychic powers don't exist, but there are thousands of stories concerning these so called powers. Make up your own mind.

In theory, psychic powers come more from instinct more than anything else. Because of this theorized fact, there is no one specific location in the brain that this power comes from, so there can be no generalized testing because it would be different with each person. Such a large variant would corrupt the data and prove inconclusive. That's why scientific proof one way or the other hasn't been publicized.

because it is quackery. The hilarious part is that people still believe the hoaxes even after the hoaxers have admitted and demonstrated the hoax, take Uri Geller and spoon bending for example.
these links are references to the amazing Randi he spent a lot of time investigating psychic claims

There are several tests going on now. Science isn't calling it psychic testing as that is considered the realm of para-psychology. It is called zero point energy.

Every answer can't be found in science. Somethings have to be taken on faith. A miracle can't be proven in a lab. All true fakes are always found out. It's the ones that can't be explained that should be listened to. It never hurts to listen

because the government either will find a way to disprove it by lying or other ways, so that the psychic seems to be lying or that the government has proven and just hasnt released it
