I LOVE MY JOB! Finally....

I am a work at home mom as an Independent Consultant for Passion Parties. I set my own hours, do as many parties as I'd like, and work around my family.

I found my dream job and make good money with it too. I feel really lucky and it's working well for me.

I've always wanted to be home with my children, so a career that allows me to do that is all I could hope for. Plus, the parties are tasteful, educational and fun and allow me some adult time.

I explored a lot of options and had a lot of jobs I hated, so it feels good to enjoy my work. I wish I'd decided to do this sooner!

Unfortunately i am still completeing my education so I dont have a job yet ( personal decision).
But I can not refuse myself dreaming at a "dream career". I dont have a name for it but it looks like that: travelling around the world, reading about the places i go, meeting people, learning their language, visiting everything, making pictures and live long enough to watch them when i get old and cant do that anymore.
And after all this...i pray for god to give me days, talent and power to write about it. ( and here i open my eyes and i say .. dreaming is good but it ends when you open the eyes.. and sometimes I feel like throwing on the floor the audit book I have in my hand and just walk away in the world till i get tired.)

I don't know what my dream career would be. I really like working from home right now. Could my dream career include naps on my couch? I would hate to give that up.

I'm not happy in my job, that's why I come here to answer question instead of working...

I'm an IT consultant in business intelligence, and I maily work in Telecom companies... But right now I got a project so borign that I'll try to find an other company.

If I could do what I want, no regards for salary.... I'll take pictures and work for the National Geographic.

I'm very happy in my job.
Working/Part Owning for a small (but succesful) record company based mainly in the recording studio
Seeing such talented musicians come through and helping them realise their ambitions is such a buzz

I think you have to chase your dreams. If they're realistic then there's no reason why you shouldn't try to persue your dream career.
Life's too short to be unhappy at work. If you don't enjoy it, do something about it

I work in Marketing and I know there's a lot I could do with my degree. But my dream job is to be an Event Planner. I'm good at that kind of thing, and I'd love to get into that.

Nop and i would like to work with mussels' farm in Brazil (no tsunamis, no earthquakes, no hurricanes)

But, Jean Paul Sartre wrote once: You are absolutelly freee since you respect your actual constrains. Expect too much without possibilities will lead into a non-life or deep sadness.

Then, I'll change my answer. Yes, I'm happy, because I have no choice (what will not block my expectations)

I'm not happy with my job at the mo, mainly because of my boss and the working environment. I dream of quitting to become a full-time author (maybe with a part-time job in a bookshop). I'm trying to get a book published at the moment.

Yes I'm very happy, I have a very flexible schedule and get to spend alot of time outdoors. My ideal job would be a mountain guide on Mt Everest. It's a highly dangerous job, but life on the edge is where it's lived best!!

Have fun!
