Hi Emerald

I thought I had already answered your question...

If you need to add a certain volume of 1:25 to your reaction then prepare it as I told you before. If you want your final conctration to be 1:25 in the tube where the experiment is taking place you use the same formula:

V1=(C2/C1)V2=(1/25)100=4 ul of your antibody stock solution and 100-4=96 ul of the rest of the stuff you need for the experiment.

for 1:50 2ul and 98ul
for 1:100 1ul and 99ul
for 1:200 you shouldn't use 0.5ul and 199.5ul because the error will be huge. Prepare a 1:50 solution and use

V=((1/200)/(1/50))100=25 ul and 75 ul of the rest of the stuff

Note that since we are talking about the same substance you can express concentration in any units you like (since it is a ratio). Here I am using as a unit the concetration of the stock solution and thus the values for the concentrations are the fractions corresponding to the dilutions

and for 1:500 10ul of the 1:50 and 90 ul of the rest

If you don't understand it e-mail me with the specific of your experiment and I can try to be more precise

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/axt2Z

100 ug in 10 ml = 10 ug / ml stock which you would dilute 1/10 for working use.
