you can 1) burn it off 2) Use something like a needle and alter it by taking out certain parts of the fingerprint's ridges 3) or use super glue on your finger tips (this stops your finger tips oils from being left on a surface but it is only temporary.)

It has been published in FBI filesfor some time now that up to 3% of the population have no readable fingerprints, they have done nothing to them to prevent natural fingerprinting it is just how they are naturally. In fact there was a teacher who was fired solely for the reason that he did not have readable fingerprints due to a skin disorder, since federal law dictates that all school workers be fingerprinted. Stupid but true!

My aunts cousin has no prints. She has the ridges on her fingers, but her skin is so soft, they only get blobs when fingerprinting her for documents...She's about 65 years old. I think scrubbing pots and pans for over 50 years and good moisturizer may do it. :P

Temporarily you can do many of the things listed, burn them, slice them, even acid. But to have it done permanent you would have to burn them so sever that the skin is hardened (even then a partial could last), have a skin transplant done, but it is unsure if they would eventually grow back. But I could tell you unless they are cut to the bone, no doctor will just remove and transplant new skin it is against the law.

.A few years ago, as a job requirement, I had to be fingerprinted by state police . The officer tried countless times to get good prints and finally gave up. I telephoned state police after I got home and talked with a very understanding police woman. She asked me if I washed dishes by hand. I told her that I wash both dishes and laundry by hand, and she explained that my housework could very well be the cause of my "bad" fingerprints

A hand or arm transplant would do it. Publicly we are not that far yet; I do not believe. Nor are we willing to admit that we can probably grow new limbs, or replace them with a bio-mechanical replication that is nearly impossible to detect. If this is the case then you probably work for the United States federal government.

tiny tiny tiny slices clear to the muscle will take them off for a period of time---until the skin grows back. Terrible burns can remove prints if grafted skin was from another part of the body.
