Yes, i think its alright to have secrets.
Because being married doesn't mean you should stop being an individual.

Some secrets you should keep:
* personal bank account or investments
* your shopping life/ how much you really spend on trivial things (he will never understand why you have that much black dresses and shoes anyway). Trust me, the argument is not worth it.

No marriage is sharing everything. To have secrets is a detriment to the relationship. You need to be serious and decide what is important. Your spouse or the secret life.

Everyone has a secret life. DO you really know what's going on in a person's head. But honesty is important, in the long run it would mean a happy marriage. So yes keep your secrets, but don't commit adultery, and stay true, take all big decisions together and understand each other. You are not each others confessors but loving mates and friends who have decided ot make a life together.

No you should not have a secret life from your spouse. The two can have their "own time", but I don't believe in secrets. That is just asking for disaster!!

no. Why would you marry someone if you weren't ready to share everything with them? Trust is a huge issue in marriage. If you have a secret life eventually you will be found out and the trust is gone.

Marriage is meant for two people to live as one, not two people with secret lives.

No, marriage is based on trust, honesty, and love. If you have all of those things...there should be no secrets. Eventually......the secret will surface.....and when it does will you be ready?
