Eh, Fabzta's not totally wrong, but he could've said it a little nicer. Gays will no doubt have to go through a huge struggle. Even though it may feel like "the world" is against homosexuality, that's more of an American thing. Even though the Pope is over in Europe, homosexuality is very open and understood and supported, which really pisses off the Pope, you can imagine. But here in America, yes, you will probably have to bite your tongue daily from idiots and mean people.
You have the risk of never being able to get married. I would be shocked and heartbroken if we ever managed to make the amendment to the constitution banning gay marriage, but even if they didn't, there might not ever be a marriage/civil union ceremony available for gays, at least not for a long time.
You probably will never be able to have children. Not of your own, obviously, but you may not be able to adopt. There are laws banning gay couples to adopt children.
You will always be stereotyped as having a lisp, having crutons on you at all times, carrying a purse, wearing makeup, being in the fashion business etc. You will also get mistaken as a drag queen, woman, transsexual and transvestite all the time. I guess it is possible for someone to be all four at once, but it's unlikely.
You won't be able to join the Army, they don't allow gays in. Well, if you keep it secret, you can. But there are much more fun things to do then go get killed in Iraq...
Even though these aren't really risks and more just ways that you will be discriminated your whole life, you do have a risk of getting AIDS. I'm not sure the statistics but the gay community has a high HIV+ percentage. Just be really, really careful when you have sex. Always use a condom and pick your partners carefully. If your partner really cares about you and your health (even if he's just a f.uckbuddy!) he will get tested if you ask him to. Get tested frequently so you don't give it to anyone else.
Be strong, be safe, be proud!

There is no real risk of being gay as far as medical goes. (anything is risky if the person does things to be risky)
The only real risk is that people sometimes decide to be somthing or do somthing on a rash or undecided decision. being gay is empowering when its the right choice and not choesen because of personal gain or social status. EG: i will be emo to get in with the popular crowd at school.
anyways in short the only time there is a risk is if the person does not allow themself the chance to properly decide such an important question.
Cheers

No, i'm no longer. that is stressful ingredient I could desire to handle in relationship, yet via the time i've got prevalent somebody long sufficient to be keen to sleep with them, all of us be conscious of the dates of the final tests and the lab outcomes. or perhaps then, I nonetheless use protection. to describe that, that is style of like a vehicle's seatbelt to me. I placed on the seatbelt in spite of if i'm using a block to the nook keep. somebody can get under the impression of alcohol and opt to work out in the event that they are able to do ninety miles an hour on my highway. Labs can omit some thing. It happens. No, i'm no longer apprehensive approximately it. I paintings protection into the sexual component of my life in a sensual way that makes it area of the foreplay. in this backwood society? Plenty.... in an open minded world - pretty much the same as being heterosexual - if you exercise caution and good judgement in selecting your sex partners.... you should be good to go..... enjoy
