Damn i cant believe a white guy like you likes soccer or are you from a diff descent? yea i hope France wins the euro 08 they need to after what happend in the world cup (its 4:19 am in cali dog hahaha)

Very hard to answer as qualification hasn't even started yet (sept 2006).
I gather the following countries will be qualified from their groups:
Group A
Portugal
Poland
Group B
France
Italy (Ukraine is also in this group! all three QF of world cup including both the finalists!!)
Group C
Turkey
Greece
Group D
Czech republic
Germany (if the new coach keeps up the good work)
Group E
England
Russia (with Guus Hiddink as coach!)
Group F
Spain
Sweden (? Denmark?)
Group G
Netherlands
Rumania (? Bulgaria?)
Already qualified
Austria - host nation
Switzerland - host nation
From this bunch I see Italy, Portugal , Germany and Netherlands as semi-finalists (depends ofcourse on the draw)
Winners: GERMANY
Wishful thinking winners: THE NETHERLANDS
France I do not see getting very far, they have to built a completely new team. The players that played the final at Berlin will quit somewhere between here and 2008, at least as internationals. They now have the same team (almost) as in 1998. They won't play at the highest level for very long.
Germany and Holland have young teams and can built from that. But we will wait and see because in the beautiful game of football (i.e. soccer) everything is possible.

Switzerland or Germany, they both had young teams that played very convincingly at the world cup and will probably be even better in two years and also they'll have a lot of fans in the stadiums, seeing that the Euro is held in Austria and Switzerland.

may be portugal,(france without zizou) idoubt it may be they will reach the final but they wont win
