They aren't crazy, that's why, and the ruling families in each country care only about protecting their own interests.
Besides Israel is a nuclear power.
Even if they did get involved, would that be a good thing? I don't think so. The last thing anybody needs is a regional war.
Whether they like it or not, the Arabs are going to have to accept that the Israelis are here to stay. And whether they like it or not, the Israelis are going to have to make peace with their Arab neighbours, they cannot depend on Western and US help forever.
Unfortunately I believe that the Palestinians will be sacrificed in order for the above happens. I have been to a few Arab states and they see the Palestinians as gypsies, troublemakers and beggars and don't really care what happens to them.
This is a true tragedy, as it will be another case of Genocide.

Lets just hope that the other Arab nations dont get involved because this could mean the begining of the end for all of us. I dont really care to be a part of a third world war over a piece of land that is worthless.

No culture is monolithic. There's variety all over the place. Arabs are different to each other and chances are that their internal differences are greater than the divides between them and the West.
Besides, you have to take into account economic ties. For instance, Saudi Arabia is more involved with 9/11 than Afghanistan ever was, but the latter is the one being bombarded.

All modern military operations by advanced powers begin with air campaigns. Their purpose is to prepare the battlefield for land attack and, in some cases, to force a political settlement. The Israeli ground offensive has not been launched, yet.
Hizbollah is a Shiite Muslim organization. Other countries with Shiite Muslims may join in to fight against Israel. Allegedly, Iran (a Shiite Muslim country) and Syria supply Hizbollah with weapons. Therefore, they fight by proxy.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Jordan have predominately Sunni Muslims. Sunni Muslims also have the annihilation of Israel as their goal, but apparently they do not want to join forces with the Shiite Muslims to accomplish that goal.
Apparently, President Lahhud is now planning to commit the Lebanese Army to join with Hizballah to fight against Israel. Maybe Syria and Iran will also join in......soon the whole world may join the conflict.

[Announcer-read report over video]
Lebanese President Emile Lahhud has stressed that Lebanon cannot give up Al-Sayyid [Hasan] Nasrallah because he represents the resistance in Lebanon. In a tour during which he inspected displaced persons in a number of Lebanese areas, east of Beirut, President Lahhud said that Lebanon is strong when it is united. He added: We have a land that is still occupied and prisoners.
[Begin Lahhud recording] Nobody can defeat you. When we are united, we can remain steadfast and nobody will be able to defeat us. [applause] We know that when the liberation was achieved, it was a big blow to Israel. Now, they are retaliating. But, they will not succeed, because nobody is stronger than Lebanon when it is united and steadfast.
I assert to you that they will cave in to the right in the final analysis. We say that we still have a land, prisoners, and many issues that need to be resolved. The United Nations is working, but not as required. The more time passes by, the more Israel will destroy us and our infrastructure.
We can rebuild buildings. What counts is the people. You are the people and nobody is stronger than you. [applause] The state, with all its components, and the entire cabinet are with you. We will meet all your requirements. We know that you are not worried about anything. But, it is our duty to stand beside you and help you.
The Lebanese state should do all that it can. [applause and chants of support for Lahhud] Rest assured Lebanon will not give up Al-Sayyid Nasrallah [applause]. Al-Sayyid [Nasrallah], the resistance, and the national army achieved liberation for Lebanon. We will not forget that. This will be written in the books of history, no matter what the Israelis do. [end recording]

First off, it is not Lebanon. It is the evil terror group hezbollah that is using lebanon.
These other countries are not stupid and suicidal. They sit back and covertly support hezbollah. To openly join the fight would take them out of the main stream of nations and into the evil empire of rogue nations. Countries don't wage war these days. It is the invisible terror groups like al queda and hizbollah that have no real county with a government. That makes them harder targets.

Other Arab nations have been defeated in war, by Israel, in the past. Hamas and Hezbolla are terrorist groups, bent on destroying Israel and it's Jewish population. These groups do not deserve the support of Arab nations.

because most arab states are in agreement with Israel and believe Hezbollah is using Lebanon as a launch pad for attacks, which are backed by Syria and Iran.
WHAT are the LEBONESE government doing to help their own people is the question you need to ask. I will tell you what they are doing : NOTHING . They are allowing Terrorists to control their country and their nationals are dying for it.
