It's fun to moan!!! We can't moan if everything works, so we make sure everything breaks down on purpose so we can have excuses to have a good old whinge over a cup of tea or a pint.

XD

In the Uk everything grinds to a halt as we like to moan, its the hobby of many people from the UK, either its to hot or too cold. The thing is we just do not know what to do and seem always un-prepared this leads to moaning and then nothing gets done. I am laughing as today they said as the roads are melting they will send out the winter grit lorries to put down a grit to help. Why did they not make a better road surface they do the rest of the world and they do not have problems.

I guess it's because they are not accustomed.
Also, now we can afford to do it. Heatwaves do kill a lot of old people, so they should be taken seriously, but nobody had the money for that. The weather is also more extreme because of the climate change (sudden heat ups).
Finally, if a country does not count with such temperatures, it also can damage buildings, sewing system... etc. I live in Hungary, and buildings are not designed to cope with -30°. Pipes just break in such low temperature.

its the same old thing here in the uk, we just cannot cope with changes in the weather in the summer as it is with soaring heatwaves, there talking about gritting the roads as there melting lol.

and in the winter we get a high wind or bad storm and all the electric goes off, sodding stupid if you ask me, every other country copes but us but there again we are never satified we all moan cos its hot and in the winter we will all moan cos were damn cold lol.

thats the joy of the british weather and country its unpreditable like the people.

Because public transport is a nightmare - when it's autumn it's leaves on the train tracks, when it's summer the heat will bend the tracks, when it's winter there's ice on the tracks, when it rains the tracks become slippy!
