possessiveness involved not giving someone the space they need to grow and develop.
caring involves realising what's good for the person and encouraging them without getting in their space.

Possessiveness is coz of the result of Over-whelming Love.!
Care comes from a "Matured Person's Heart"
Possessiveness comes from a "Childish Person's Heart"
Regarding me, I'm very possessive over my loved one's, irrespective of sex!

caring : you care about the other person's feelings / views and ideas
possessiveness : you don't care if the other person's feelings/ views and ideas agree with yours or don't .
you're possessive .... you don't care
thats the best example i can give you im my own words....
i met possessive ppl, and believe me, there is nothing caring about them. they just want control.
not coz they didn't want to be caring.... but just coz they couldn't help stop being possessive and always think they are right.

Caring is saying,be carerful,have fun,when your partner is going out.Possesivness is saying,where are you going?who are you seeing?why dont you want me along?Caring means you dont have to live in each others pockets.I guess what im trying to say is caring is good wishes and possesivness is bad questions.

caring means to worry about some one or its like geting hurt if the person whom you care is hurt.
possessiveness is reluctant to share.
over caring may lead to possessiveness.
