Yes, they say that every seven years your body chemistry changes. I noticed this with the way my body looks. I used to have humongous boobs and small rest of my body, but then the rest of my body became proportionate in my 20's. I also noticed that food that I hated started to taste good. The bad thing is my hair started to get thinner. I complained my whole life about my annoying thick hair, and now I see that I shouldn't have been complaining. Good job on eating healthy. Make sure you eat all of the food groups and take a multi-vitamin. Wide hips are the shiznit, they keep your pants up better. :)

Well....if that is true and it is every 7 years, you won't need to worry until you're 35!!
But seriously.....I don't think it is the same for everyone. One thing is for sure - we will all get older, and we will all gradually show the signs of aging, and we would all like to avoid this, though some of us are more OK with it than others.
My mom used to say that people age in leaps - so someone can stay looking the same age for years - 10, 15 even 20 years - but then it suddenly catches up with them!!!
These days I guess that would happen if you were using Botox and then stopped....providing you stopped before Rigor Mortis occurred.
I recognise your observation about your hips....I guess as we grow older our metabolism slows down.
But think positive - 34 is a perfect age - old enough to have had some useful experience of life and still young enough to really go for it!!
Have a wonderful birthday.

Don't know about every 7 years, more like every week when I look in the mirror. As for clothes well they just dont make them like they used to, they shrink more often too...Then there's the elasticated waistbands, why do they have to make them so tight..aren't they supposed to give..? Hips getting wider? Disguise it, develop a tummy and hey presto the hips look quite narrow, get a a few pints down ya!..um what else, grey hair? Great, better grey than bald. And isn't it strange how when we're much younger with fewer imperfections we worry more about the way we look and try this do that blah blah blah wouldnt even dare open the door without at least abit of make-up slapped on!
Grow old gracefully??! What at 34?! I think growing older disgracefully but with style is the way to go!

Hadn't noticed it was every 7 years for me.
I notice the difference from the previous decade.
At 30, I noticed that I looked a little(!) different than I did at 20.
Same at 40. Not yet ready to do another comparison.
Body shape has changed the most. Face isn't doing too badly compared to some of my peers.
Genetics has an awful lot to do with it, I think. Check out your mum, or photos of her from years ago.

I am a lot older than you and apart from the wider hips you start to get little lines around your eyes and mouth, your boobs start to droop and your waist thickens no matter how healthily you eat and exercise. Also you start to get grey hairs. Luckily there are masses of wonderful moisterizers, hair colourants etc. to help you to grow old gracefully. The main thing is to keep your sense of humour because no matter how old you look, you still feel the same 21 year old inside.
I hope you have a GREAT day tomorrow - it's not how old you are, but how young you feel.

I do not believe in waiting for 7years to notice anything different apart from the fact that my birthday will fall on the exact day I was born. I believe that if a change occurs, I will be able to identify it immediately. Beside my family and friend will mention it to me almost immediately. So stop worrying much about it.

i feel the changes in my body are not bad ones and they add to our character and who we are .
i feel that Ive only just learnt the true way to apply my make up and dress in a flattering way . i feel very young at heart and still think I'm about 25 ..happy birthday for tomorrow xx

i'm changing all the time! i've put on a little wieght, got a few more wrinkles and i've started to tidy up (and considering what a slob i was, i call that progress!) but i still love to party and am childish in many ways so as long as the child in me sticks around, i'm happy to deal with the changes that come with each passing day

I am not too sure about the 7 years though. Most of my clothes still fit me, so I tend not to worry about body shape so much. Enjy your body, accept it as it is, but don't do anything too drastic though. Accept yourself th way you are, and everybody else will too. Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

I've got a lot more white hairs at my right temple.... but i dont think that has anything to do with ageing, cos am just 26. My boobs are bigger than they were 7 years ago, though.
