Has any one changed from the combined pill to the mini pill (UK)? HAve you experienced any problems?

Not personally, no (I'm a man!), but my wife has switched. The only problem she's experienced is the unnatural feeling of not having a period each month so she comes off it now and again just to make her feel a bit more human and feminine. The combined pill used to give her headaches and cause all kinds of other issues so she has actually felt a lot better on the mini pill.

The other advantage of the mini pill is that there are no proven links between it and increased risk of cancer, unlike the combined pill. Hope this helps you in making a decision. The most important thing is that it feels right for you and that you're taking it for the right reasons.

Take care, stay happy and make love!

Did it about 4 years ago, can`t remember having any problems. The only thing that happened was that I completely stopped having my periods. Freaky to start off with but now it doesn't bother me.
