The US: Military-industrial complex will have a field day fielding a new alien busting weapon every week, costs billions but are too 'top secret' to be used. So it doesnt.
George Bush offers a unique program; countries pay billions and will come under the 'protection' of the US... wait a minute, Reagan did that with the Star Wars defense program too.
The Brits: Hailed as a staunch ally and friend of the US, the Prime Minister finally gets voted off after yet another 'intelligence failure'.
The French: Stays out of the conflict... until the aliens broadcast an insult to the French President's mother and sister.
Intelligence analysis points that the broadcast was a fake, engineered by the Italians.
Singapore: Contributed tremendously to the war effort by sending its best soldiers on 'humanitarian efforts' so far from the frontline. It was rumoured that a couple of the soldiers actually heard a weapon being discharged but no confirmation was available.
The Asians: Invented the unique Asian Handicap Betting system for use in placing wagers during the conflict. Also, rumours that Asian betting syndicate caused some aliens to 'kelong' with huge payouts were never confirmed.
The Chinese: Provided the turning point in the war by creating the Alien-Flu which so devastated the alien fleet they warped back to whichever galaxy they came from. It is believed that the Alien-Flu is a mutation of the SARS, bird-flu and pig-flu which was pandemic there.

Hate brings people together....if Man learns to hate sumbody other then ourselves thier would be no more racism and vioence towards eachother....we will all learn to hate the aliens and in so dat hate would bring the world together in peace since we will see that we are all humans and each race is not an alien....

of cos they would, whenever there is a natural disaster, everyone will come together even if they are enemies. Take the example of the Asian Tsunami, the rebels and the govt forces stop fighting each other and cooperate and help in anyway possible, though they have been fighting for years.

No, human being is so gready and selfish that they ( rich and powerful ) will join them (aliens) to keep themselves save and get the other poor human beings killed. Means man will try to join the aliens, rather than to join other man to save his/her life.

Yep, that is the old so called 'Star Trek' scenario. It is actually very likely, goes back to Sun Tzo, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
It is probably the ONLY valid scenario that would unite the countries of the world. All the other scenarios are liberal huggy/feely nonsense.
