i don't believe it is altogether true. i think alot of people w/bad hearts and are having a heart attack go into the bath room. i worked on the fire dept. for 33 years and i responded to many incidents where people were having or had a heart attack in the bathroom. most of those already had a heart problem or started to feel sick from the oncoming heart attack and then tried to have a bowel movement to make them feel better.

That's bull $hit. Most heart attacks are caused by emotional stress. Other than that, physical strain put on the heart by excessive activity can enduce a heart attack.

yes, this is true. heart attacks are triggered when they bear down, termed as Valsalva Maneuver... the thing you do when you try very hard to get those bowel out. it causes decrease oxygenation to the heart causing an attack. thats why people who have known cardiac problems take laxatives to promote elimination.

That is a horrible thought...I can see that might happen to some people - eg, apparently Elvis!
There's a moral in this, and it is:
ALWAYS EAT LOTS OF FIBRE!!!
