U.S. is a long-time Israeli ally. Bush though missed a great opportunity to be helpful in Lebanon after 9/11 and last years Cedar revolution. Right now they are seeming to want to get the 25,000 americans out of lebanon before doing more.

You must be kidding! US is the biggest israeli ally. and helps israel in all possible and impossible means to continue its aggressive attacks against Palestinian children and women (talking a little about US human rights perspective when it comes to Palestinians and Arabs).
