I'm not sure if Improv would induce immortality but you never know.

Bat Out Of Hell - not only is it nice and long, with terrific guitarwork and one of the best lyrics Jim Steineman ever wrote (which is saying something), but the final image, of someone with enough force of passion that their heart flies free beyond death would be a great image to leave people with, and something to focus on as I left. Plus, now I think of it, the lines "Ah girl you're the only thing in this whole world that's pure and good and right, and wherever you are, and whatever you do, there's always gonna be some light". That's my wife, described to perfection, and there's no better thought to die on than that.

We Are The Champions by Queen because the words fit my life so well. Especially the part about I've done my sentence but committed no crime. Oh, and the line that says, and bad mistakes, i've made a few.

Bud Powell( a jazz pianist from the 1940s), "It Never Entered My Mind." It was the first song that my true love and I listened to together. We still listen to it from time to time to bring back memories...When I get married, I will walk down the aisle to it. I find it fitting to listen to this song before I die.

Why Me Lord

(words & music by kris kristofferson)
(why me lord? what have I ever done
To deserve even one of the pleasures I’ve known
Tell me lord what did I ever do to deserve loving you
And the kindness you’ve shown)

Lord heavenly jesus I praise him
So help me jesus I know what I am
Now that I know that I needed you so
Help me jesus, my soul’s in your hands

(try me lord, if you think there’s a way I can ever repay
All I’ve taken from you
Forgive lord I can show someone else
What I’ve been through myself
On my way back to you)

Lord heavenly jesus I praise him
So help me jesus I know what I am, oh yes!
Now that I know that I needed you so
Help me jesus my soul’s in your hands
Jesus my soul’s in your hands

this is what my father's friends sung when my father died

its so emotional as i reflect with each lyrics

i remember the times when he had turned himself to christ before he died.

Unfinished Melody.

See, if it's unfinished then it doesn't end. If it doesn't end, then neither do I.
