Yes as long as it is needed , I know that sometimes life can be hard and sometimes you need someone to turn to for help, and sometimes you may not get money back but at least you helped when needed, what if that friend goes with out heat or a meal because some radio said do not loan money out ,because you wont get it back, please if it is loan for a car or something trivial as that then maybe a contract should be drawn up, but as far as help for bills and things yes loan it if you have it to spare! You may not know it but you may have just helped in ways you could not fathom. You may not get paid back, but it will come back later in life to you somehow.

Of course, I will lending money to friends and family members as well. If they really need or any emergency. By the way it's not very bad to borrow money to friends because sometime you also need someones help.

Yes, I will lend money to family and friends ONLY if the following conditions are met:
1) I have the money to spare.
2) The other person needs it more than i do.
3) I am prepared to forget the whole thing.

I have a rule about lending money: If a friend or family member needs money and I have it to give, then it's a gift, not a loan. If I'm unable to spare what they need without getting back, then I say "I really like to help you, but I'm short myself this month"

Depend on individual. Certain friends really need money for emergency, so why not. However, you have to know the reason why he/she is borrowing money from you.

If you trust them, find out about those people first if they are dependable, cause some people owe ton of money to lots of other people and giving it back to them is last thing on their mind

You should. But start small. If they want $1000, even if you have it, say no. But $10, ok, make sure you are clear that it is a loan and you expect repayment by (such and such date). If they repay you, then maybe it's ok to go slightly higher. If not, you learned a lesson.

If you loan money to family and friends, you should keep in the back of your mind you may not get it back.
Would that be worth breaking up with them?
If yes, loan them the money.
If no, do not loan them the money.

do you mean lend money to friends? if so, it depends on the friend and how much you trust them. In general, I would try not to as it can cause problems in your relationship if they don't pay you back as planned.

only if you pay them back. When you pay them back they will trust you a little more and when you dont, they wont believe you next time you want to borrow money and say. "Ill pay you back". then they dont give money to you. also its the rigt thing to do if you borrow money.
I borrow money all the time.
