Im currently coaching a soccer team and only 2 players on the team is excited about playing nobody else on the team really wants to play. They play cause their parnets want them too. This kinda thing has happen to my baseball and basketball teams but not as bad as whats happening to my soccer team. most of the players want to play video games or watch tv. this is most lazy generation ever.

Because it's the "entitlement" generation. They are growing up in an America that is ever more shallow, consumerist, and obsessed with instant gratification. Their parents buy them ipods, $150 Nike shoes, X-box, skateboards, cellphones, etc. and these kids don't do $hit: No job, no sports, no chores, no passing grades. I see this all the time in my students. Of course, there are exceptions. Many young people are motivated and hard-working. But the lazy, "I want it all and I don't wanna lift a finger to get it" population certainly is growing in America. Sad...

i agree my generation can be extremely lazy, and is quiet spoiled, and greedy. Maybe you just got a team that isn't motivated enough, or the team isn't really that close of a team, maybe you could try to show them that it is fun to be in sports, or show that this is a type of thing that you don't want slackers on, to show them that sports have a lot of benefit, it is hard to be on a team when the team isn't close. but hey, i love sports, and I'm 16.
