Well, expressing my personal opinion, most of my best friends are male. I only have a female friend ( I can assure you though, she's the best!).
What I came to realize over the years is that men tend to be more honest and sincere, while women are more competitive, occasionally tend to be rather jealous and slightly bitchy as well.

i agree...guys are waaayyy more easy to handle (less catty, gossipy etc.) but when you need a shoulder to cry on girlfriends are the ones to turn to.
i have both guy and girl friends, and if i just want to hang out and not hear about other girls and what they did to be bitchy i hang out with my guy friends, but if im having a bad day or need advice or something i call my girlfriends

Men have more practice in hiding their actions... I remember sometime ago you could pay people on the net for an alibi to cheat on your spouse... never tried it... :)

lieing could be good and bad but from experiance the people i have been friends with men are better then women. they treat me better and do not backstab so much
