Sure. But you must keep in mind that the PAN is also alotted in that NAME. In fact, you will see that in Return ones FATHER's name is required and not husband's name. Husband can chanfe but not ones father.

By all means she can do it. There is no restriction in Indian Income tax with regard to the use of the Maiden name of a women after marriage. She can continue filing her returns as before even after marriage.

I have lots of clients myself who have not changed there name after marriage and are still filing the return in old name.
