when u buffer video from net, it depends on ur connection speed that how much it gonna download at a time. This mean u must be using a slow connection like dialup else if u r using broadband and u r facing this prob then try configuring ur video player for gud quality

Most probably the file offered by yahoo is at its lowest resolution. It's free and the file size is definitely small. You cannot do anything about it, it's either you accept it or reject/delete it.
