Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Redemeer, preached to people during his time on Earth about the way to salvation. It is through asking Jesus into your heart and recognizing him as the Savior can you be saved.
While Jesus performed miracles, it was His teachings that influenced people, and as he was known as "The Christ", the term Chrisitianity came about as a definition of His teachings and those who follow His words.

I wouldn't wast my time anemone.
A lie possibly from the Babylonians, Persians, Greece and others. To bring in the New World order to the then undeveloped countries. That's why politicians find it hard to tell the truth. It’s based on a lie.
To finish you believers should make sure you do what jesus did and what jesus said to do in, matt 19: 11-12 become "eunuchs"
As Abraham talked about circumcision. Your friend jesus talked about losing you "Nts"
But you wont here the truth in church.
That's why the Jews do not follow jesus.
But don't be fooled the God of the original testament is not the same as jesus
the answer jesus is no-one

Jesus is the son of God !!! he came to this earth to save our souls, to bless us. He was born by Mary, a virgin woman who was married with Joseph (iosif). He has been sent by God to help us find the truth, the real religion, to realise that He is still loving and watching us... it's difficult for me to write these lines because I can't find my words in English.. but, anyway, let's go on! :) He was the one who has created the Christianity as a religion, He was the first who revolutionated ( ? ) the religion and the old rules, canons that the gewish priest had as a golden rule. He wasn't seen with good eyes by the ones who had the power at that time and because of that he was killed by them... but that' s another story because that was the mission of Jesus! by His death and then by His resurection we were forgiven, we received the possibility to live in Heaven, we could now acceed to the life after the life... how to say this... He was the first religion teacher if you want it like this.... and his apostols(?) were His student who carried on his knowledges... there are a lot more to say about Jesus and His works... but you should read the Bible... there you will find all the answers... or go to speak with a priest, or minister, or pastor, or what you have near you... even a rabi(?) a gewish priest :)) (he will say that He was an impostor) ... you should hear all the stories about Him... your religion what says about Him??? it depends I guess from human to human... I'm a christian for example... not a catholic but an orthodox one... hope you'll find out who is Jesus even if you won't like it or you won't believe in Him ;) bye

Jesus was an enlightened being who walked on earth at that time. He was known as Jesus Christ, preaching his truth and so his followers label his teaching after his name as `Christainity.'
