NO INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS???????? have you ever even watched a game in the last five years????? the sport is being dominated by non-americans. go to mlb.com and take a look at the rosters of the teams and you will see for yourself. the dilema these days is trying to get black kids involved in baseball there are so few black players in mlb these days that they are almost extinct. heres a short list of some of the top players in the mlb all foreign. David Ortiz, Vladimir Guerrero, Alfonso Soriano, Albert Pujols, Johan Santana, Pedro Martinez, Ichiro Suzuki. just to name a few. next time have an idea what your talking about before asking a question about it.

There are international players in baseball. Although the sport isnt very popular in Europe, South America, or Africa, parts of Asia and Central America really love the game. The MLB has quite a few non american players. Calling it the world series isnt fair, this is true, because its a professional league. It got into the olympics because enough countries play it to make it competetive. We are not the only country to play the sport. Japan, Cuba, the Domican Republic, all have professional leagues, and produce good players, many of whome will play in MLB. And if you recall the baseball classic thing in the spring, the United States lost to Mexico in the quarterfinals. So learn what you are talking about before going on a rant.

Actually, MLB has players from all around the World!
There are no teams outside the U.S. except for Canada.
Baseball is played in many countries (it is HUGE in Asia and South America), but nowhere near the number of countries that Soccer is played in.
Like all American Pro sports; Baseball is also entertainment, so "The World Series" is more a term used to hype it up rather than an accurate statement.

There are probably as many Dominicans, Venezuelans, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, and Canadian players in the big leagues, as there are Americans.

There are leagues in the Dominican & Venezuelan Summertime...the Caribbean World Series...etc.
