I don't think that height matters as long as she makes the grades, she is still young yet, if she was too tall the academy would have told her so, i have seen dancers of all shapes and sizes. Wish her good luck from me, and tell her not to worry.

See if she dances well then it doesn't matter even if she is tall. Make her to put her whole attention in dance and not in such hollow things as height, looks and appearances. if she consider that height is her negative point then tell her that dance is her positive point. It is natural and she don't need to think on such topics. she is only 12. Every thing will be ok.

Tall and slim? What more does a girl want? There will be many opportunities if she is good enough. She could always become a bluebell girl!

Tell her not to be such a drama queen and go and discuss it with someone at the academy who knows what options are available.
Beware eating disorders at this age, and peer pressure.
Kids today eh?

She could join the Rockettes.
How about her in male roles? An option/advantage more diminutive girls would not have.
So there! Don't worry.
It could be to her advantage!

Perhaps she should be looking more at ballet? They like tall dancers.
