I'm basing this on the asumption that you have A-Rod and would be acquiring Reyes.
Reyes has been a monster in typical 5X5 leagues. I don't know what your league uses as categories. If your league is power heavy (HRS, Total bases, Slugging, etc), then stick with A-Rod. If your league uses steals and runs and you can make up ground there without losing much in the power categories AND you have a legit player to fill the 3B slot that A-rod was in, then by all means make the trade.
A-Rod's best hasn't happened yet this season, while my gut says that Reyes has peaked already. You don't want to trade the best part of A-Rod's season for the worst part of Reyes's, that's what it boils down to.

Hmmm .. Thats one to think about...
A-Rod has not been the big producer like he has been in the past .. i think he will be pretty consistance the rest of the year with that bat .. so obviosly you are giving up some to get some ..
If you are are slacking in the Stolen base categorie, along with the run catagorie take it, I think the mets will Soar for the rest of the season , i mean they are playing in the weak NL, so Reyes numbers will not slow down .. i dont think Batting average is a factor in this trade becasue by the end of the year A-Rod will Bring his numbers up. here our my predictions:
A-Rod- .297 . . 38 HR . . 110 RBI's . . 19 SB's . . 118 R's
Reyes- .316 . . 18 HR . . 86 RBI's . . 78 SB's . . 142 R's
I say do this deal if you can take the blow of losing this power .. If you have two good/or above average power hitters do it .. Reyes wil get you many more Fantasy points and will always have a higher Trade value if you do ever need to trade him (like a key Ace pitcher gets hurt)
.. Go for it , this year's a-rod, is not last years a-rod .. and I think Playing in that division, with the redsox and Jays, they will start slowing down and finish third in their division while, like i said, the Mets will dominate the whole National League. Do it.
Good Luck

I would actually take Reyes, especially if you are near the bottom of SB's. With Reyes, you will get an additional 30 SBs over Arod. I think Arod is having a down year. I predict .285 avg, 40 HR, 120 RBI. 115 Runs good number, but not great.

KEEP A-ROD. Unless you need steals and on base percentage. A-Rod is going through a mild slump. Don't pay any attention to it. He's gonna start knocking the crap out of the ball and shut everybody the hell up in New York.
DONT TRADE AROD!!!

In a 5x5 league Reyes is a beast. IF you can get Reyes for AROD at this point I would do it. AROD's confidence is shot. You can look to him to start a downward spiral.
