Probably, but the peace wouldn't last. People cant help but fall back into old habits. There has been large gaps of peace in the middle east but it never lasts.

If everyone on earth is able to forget the past and focus on the future, and change the major driving force from money to advancement of humanity. Peace could happen.

But I doubt I will see it in my life time.

I hope this will happen...but more then likely not. Because right now look at the war in Middle East. I'm so sadden to watch people dying each day with difference that they don't agree on. If there is an outside force I hope our human specie will realize that we're no different then each other and will have more understanding ito coincide together. I think the world is going to end anyway soon if we keep on fighting. If there is something like “Independence Day” this will teach humanity a lesson of taking care of each other. We have seen so much in History but we still yet not learn from it. This is just sad…

Oh ya
"My enemies enemy is my friend" (ok so I miswrote that it is late early whatever yawn look below for the correct version)
that is till the aliens come and then they are the enemy and the world is for the time being our friend. Yes I believe we would
Ya that was, IS still a great movie though if anyone in my house puts it on again this year I will melt the dvd forever.
LOL

With the kind of answers you're getting, although I would like to believe so, as in "Independence Day", it looks like the real world is too independent to be dictated by the maxim "In unity there is strength", "Together we stand, together we fall". Pitiful.

That old adage "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Hold true for many nations on the earth. Some would see it as a chance to get back and settle old scores no matter what the consequences are.And if your using Hollywood for a reference your truly screwed. It's grip on reality is tenuous at the best of times.

Good question!!!! I think the bozos in charge(and their lemmings) would blame the "liberals" for it. Here they blame liberals for EVERYTHING. The muslims would blame the jews, as always. The number of brain dead people in this world is just amazing.
