well you gave her the gift of life that's the biggest gift of all, why don't you write a letter to her for when she turns eighteen( or whatever age you feel she ready to read it) tell her about all the hopes and dreams you have for her, describe what she looks like and how you look forward to the many wonderful years ahead, tell her how you feel and what kind of mother you want to be, basically just write whats in your heart, put it in an envelope and put it somewhere where it cant be lost or destroyed, i think it would mean so much to her.

Go get her a silver charm braclet and get a christning charm and then keep adding to it for her birthdays and then she she turns 3 give it to her, but only let her wear it on special occasions. I did this for my daughter and now it is full of charms that all have special meaning. She is 8 and loves telling her friends what each charm means. I know she will be my age one day and still treasure this charm bracelet.

I do not know if you have a James Avery jewerly store where you live, but they have a HUGE selection of charms and they are not really expensive.

Good luck and congradualtions on a healthy baby girl.

How about a scrapbook page...made by you, with your thoughts of the day and a picture of the two of you. It would show her how important this is for you and hopefully for her later on.
